Eight Management Principles
Program Notes:
The elements discussed in this program build off of those examined in the opening program of the series. To build a quality, enduring organization takes patience, direction and eagerly involved people. This program examines the first 4 of the Eight Management Principles found in the ISO 9000:2000 Standard.
I hope you enjoy the program and always look forward to your comments.

Hello,
This is the first of a series we’re calling, “Quality 101.” In time, we’ll arrange podcasts in series folders for you to download whenever you wish.
To Download and listen to the program, click on the title below:
What is Quality?
Program Notes:
It’s amazing how many definitions of quality are founded on personal perspectives. That’s why 12 people will have a dozen different answers to the question, “What is quality?” This first program is foundational, therefore, because it’s essential that a single, unified definition guides the discussion from this point onward.
Quality is:
1) Knowing exactly what your customer wants
2) Providing more than expected, and
3) Doing so in the most efficient and effective manner possible
Atop this definition, the next program will begin building what is known as the “Eight Management Principles.”
I hope you enjoy the program and always look forward to your comments.

Welcome to the first day of the rest of our lives at this new site. You’re reading what is known as a “post” and that’s about the extent of our abilities at this stage of our development. Getting here took lots of time and reading, but without the technical support of the great people at Blue Host, none of this would’ve been possible.
We ask for your patience as we gradually convert our “static” website to this weblog, all in the hope of expanding our outreach through an interractive approach. We’ve already recorded the first Podcast, now we just have to figure out how to post it to the site and, of course, manage all that follows.
Thanks for being here. We’re hoping to do some good things from this platform and we welcome your active participation and advice.
